Leslie Wolf Steiger : Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic chunky peanut butter

  • 3 tablespoons almond flour

  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla

  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (or honey)

  • 1 organic egg

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 4-5 ounces dark chocolate chips

  • *Note if your peanut butter is unsalted, add a pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

2. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together until incorporated

3. Using a spoon and your hands, form small cookies out of the dough (these will only spread slightly)

4. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes

5. Cool completely on a rack
